I have a Genetics & Biochemistry degree, a PhD in Molecular Biophysics and worked as a research scientist on a muscle based project looking at the effect of statins on heart cells, so I thought I understood the body, but I was wrong.

She is also a two-time former Olympic athlete having competed as a synchronised swimmer at the Sydney and Athens Olympic Games, with an international career as a competitor spanning over sixteen years. She went to the UK in 2004 to study Sports Science, did her Pilates and Z-Health Master training and is now doing an MC in Osteopathy. She teaches Pilates certifications, Anatomy and Physiology and various educational workshops on the Nervous System, Breathing, and Visual Training for Sports and Athletic Conditioning.
She focuses her work on maximising people’s athletic potential as well as corrective exercise for injury rehabilitation. She has a strong applied interest on the body’s nervous system and neuroscience and how it can be used to improve performance and help alleviate pain.

Pavlina has an extensive background in the understanding and optimisation of movement. Pavlina’s passion for movement began through a keen interest in dance, ranging from ballet to contemporary to jazz. Taking this passion forward, Pavlina received a BA in Dance and Performing Arts, and began working as a professional dancer touring choreographing and teaching with several dance companies throughout the UK. Through her passion and continuing desire to further understand movement, Pavlina has studied with the Gray Institute in the USA, undertaking the Certification of Applied Functional Science (CAFS).
She regularly attends workshops and courses in various disciplines to continue to grow and learn and now focuses her work in body composition change, optimizing movement and performance, calisthenics and flexibility training.

Maja’s passion for health and fitness, coupled with her teaching and swimming background have led her to pursue a type of training that is not a one size fits all approach but instead is individualised and tailored towards achieving a happier, healthier lifestyle.
She is very particular when it comes to correct form and technique and uses a combination of strength training, plyometrics, Pilates and brain gym exercises for body shaping and to improve strength, endurance, agility and power while challenging the entire body.

Jo’s understanding of the Pilates method, in particular its rehabilitative qualities have stemmed from a background in competitive sports and with that, multiple injuries and surgeries. Pilates helped Jo overcome chronic pain resulting from these injuries and she now is able to enjoy life pain free and do what she loves.
She focuses her work on improving movement potential through neurological re patterning with a focus on injury prevention and rehabilitation, Pre and Post Natal training, pain management and improving overall health and well being.

Rose has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years and believes that the journey of acquiring knowledge on the human body is never ending. She has a strong, applied interest in the body’s endocrine and nervous systems and how to optimise the body’s metabolism and hormonal profile for improved health and wellness. Rose is a tutor and assessor for level 2 Gym Instructor and level 3 personal trainer Active IQ courses as well as Anatomy and Physiology tutor for the NeuroPilates Diploma.
